Do you get excited about sharing your creativity, inspiring others, and being part of a supportive, artistic community?

If so… welcome.

You might be exactly who I’m looking for.

Hither & Yon Studio is officially opening applications for the new 2026 Design Team, and I could not be more excited to bring in a group of passionate makers who love creating beautiful things — and sharing them with the world.

This team isn’t about perfection.
It’s about joy, inspiration, and the adventure of creating with heart.

If you love working with digital papers, designing unique projects, and uplifting the crafting community… you are absolutely invited to apply.

🌿 What This Team Is All About 🌿

The 2026 Design Team will be a small, curated group of creators who share:

  • A love for junk journals, art journals, card making, scrapbooking, and paper crafting in all its forms
  • A willingness to create fresh, inspiring projects every month
  • A desire to grow creatively and help others discover the joy of making
  • A commitment to showcasing Hither & Yon Studio digital kits in unique and personal ways

You don’t need a large following.

You don’t need a fancy setup.

You just need passion, creativity, and consistency.

This year’s team will help showcase past and upcoming digital releases, experiment with fresh ideas, and create beautiful visual inspiration for the entire Hither & Yon Studio community.

What You’ll Do

Each month, you will:

  • Create one fully completed project using Hither & Yon Studio digitals and the prompt or project theme provided
  • Submit five styled photos of your project for the website and social media
  • Optionally submit one video (YouTube, YT Short, TikTok, or Instagram Reel) — not required, but always appreciated
  • Share your project on your social accounts (your choice which platforms you use)
  • Participate as you can in our private DT Facebook group for updates, inspiration, and community 
  • Use only Hither & Yon Studio digitals as the primary art in your project

This is a six–month term running from: January 1 – June 30, 2026

As a Design Team member, you’ll enjoy:

You will also be part of a private community hub where the team shares ideas, inspiration, encouragement, and behind-the-scenes creativity together.

Requirements - Please Read 😊

To ensure the best experience for everyone, here are the core expectations for all Design Team members:

Creative Requirements

  • Complete 1 monthly project using Hither & Yon Studio digitals and the prompt provided
  • Submit a description, supplies and 5 styled photos of your project each month
  • Share at least one post on your own social media (excluding Facebook) highlighting the project
  • Use only Hither & Yon Studio digital designs as the primary artwork

Kit + Product Usage

You may not:

  • Copy
  • Trace
  • Alter for resale
  • Digitally manipulate or change elements within the products
  • Share kits
  • Combine full designs with other designers’ kits or major design elements

You may use other elements and supplies which are not digital kits including, but not limited to; cardstock, trims, lace, inks, embellishments, dies, stamps, hardware, fabric, found objects (aka junk), and mixed media supplies to enhance your designs.

Professional Conduct

  • Maintain a positive, uplifting presence online
  • Bring any concerns or conflicts directly to DJ — not to public forums
  • Participate kindly in the private DT group
  • Support the team atmosphere and treat others with respect
  • Intellectual Property Protection

By joining the team, you acknowledge:

  1. All Hither & Yon Studio designs remain the full intellectual property of Hither & Yon Studio.
  2. You may never copy, trace, recreate, alter for resale, distribute, or share designs.
  3. These protections remain in effect during and after your DT term.
